What we use
Cookies and browser storage help protect forms, remember your analytics choice and, if you agree, measure visits through Google Analytics 4. We use the minimum necessary storage for the functions you request. Our own directory activity counts are recorded on the server and are separate from Google Analytics.
Essential storage
- CKHSESS — first-party PHP session cookie used for form anti-spam protection, security tokens, duplicate submission safeguards and administrator login. It is a browser-session cookie and does not require optional analytics consent.
- ckh-analytics-consent — browser localStorage setting storing your choice ('accepted' or 'declined'), so we can respect it on subsequent visits. It remains until changed or cleared in browser storage.
- ckh-ga4-lead-[reference] — browser sessionStorage marker used after a successful enquiry to help avoid sending duplicate GA4 conversion events on a refreshed page. It is associated with an enquiry reference, remains in that tab's session, and does not contain your submitted contact details.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-9V4Y1GZV7K) is not loaded when you first arrive unless you previously accepted. If you choose Accept analytics, Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browser visits and measure activity. Exact cookie names and expiry can vary by Google configuration. We do not intentionally send names, emails, phone numbers, exact delivery postcodes or enquiry text to Google Analytics. This analytics choice is optional and not needed to use the site.
You can reject analytics when the notice appears, or select Cookie settings in the footer to change your preference later. If you decline after previously accepting, the website disables further analytics and attempts to clear its Google Analytics cookies; browser controls can clear any remaining cookies.
Interactive supplier map
The ordinary UK base-area map is hosted on Compare Kitchen Hire and works without an external map service. If you click the button to show the interactive street map, the website loads Leaflet scripts and OpenStreetMap tiles from third-party services. Those requests can disclose technical information, including your IP address and browser type, to those providers. The detailed map is optional.
Changes and questions
We will update this page if the website's tracking or storage changes. For questions about cookies, contact hello@comparekitchenhire.co.uk. Read our Privacy Policy for wider information on personal data and your rights.
